An international professional basketball draft camp held in Chicago attracted agents and talent scouts from around the globe. Among them were Monique Maye and Stanley Barnes. The two met while watching the athletes perform in tryouts. Once acquainted, they soon learned they shared like minded philosophy and passion for sports representation and marketing.

They found that they had a common goal; to help clients maximize their potential for income and promotional opportunities, an area that they both felt most professional athletes had yet to realize the full potential that their professional careers presented them. In the months that followed they formed the professional alliance now known as Barnes and Maye Marketing was born.

Having both worked with entertainers, they soon realized that a similar philosophy and marketing approach could help these clients maximize their earning power through the same methods of success they enjoyed with their sports clients.

Today, Barnes and Maye Marketing provide customized marketing and promotional services designed around the needs of their client's, delivering these services with trust, honesty and integrity.
